Overview: Uploading new products to Branda e-commerce website involves several steps. Here’s a detailed guide to help you through the process.

 

Method 1: Time Saver Method

 

1. Log In to Your Admin Panel:

   

   • Access the Branda website’s admin panel by entering “https://branda.com.ng/wp-admin/” on your browser and using your admin credentials.

     
     

2.     Find the most similar product to your intended upload

ü  Visit Branda ecommerce store front end “https://branda.com.ng/shop”

ü  select or search the product name or category name of the new product you intend to upload on branda.com.ng

ü  make sure you consider the exact category and sub category for example select portfolio website as its under web development to upload a new website type   

ü  Note  the name of the product displayed closest to the product you intend to duplicate

ü  Copy the product name then visit the product management of branda admin panel

3. Navigate to Product Management on Branda Admin dashboard:

   
   
   
   

   • Once logged in, go to the product management section, usually found in the main dashboard menu, then select all products
     
     

4.     Copy an Existing Product:
Use the search bar or scroll to find the similar product based on the noted name, select “search products”

5.     Scroll to the product and choose “Duplicate” to create a copy with a similar configuration, it will open the duplicated product in a new window

6.     Begin editing.

Update all essential product details under different sections:

B. Under Product data (ignore sections not mentioned)

o    Select “Variable product” since it will have various sizes and quantity

o    Under general : Tax status – Taxable, Tax class – Standard, Select New & Hot if the product fits the suggestion

o    Under inventory : Write SKU (paste the product name and add a distinct description if needed)

o    Under shipping : Add weight in kg if you know the weight of the product

o    Under linked products: Add similar products but higher in price of the current to upsells then add products that are used together or similar under cross-sells

o    Under attributes : Location : set to “Nigeria”

     C. Under Attributes & Variation (set products features & extra costs)

1.       Access Product Attributes:

o    In WooCommerce, go to the product editing page for business cards.

o    Find and select the ‘Attributes’ tab, after attributes are created its used to make variations of the products and add specific prices depending on the attribute group users selects.
for our variation or prices we use https://printivo.com/ but we charge lesser in this format
– Products N15,000 and below, we charge –N1500 – N2000
– Products N50,000 and below, we charge –N3500 – N5000
– Products above N100,000, we charge –N8,000 – N10000

the for the finishes, we assume the exact charges by the above platform for minimum to the value before the middle average then 50% off for the middle average and avove. 

for example the minimum order for business card is 100 units, middle average is 500 units and highest is 1000, this means;

 100 – 400 units will be the exact i.e 100% charges 

500 & above will be 50% off  the charges for finishes.

For instance embossing & spotting will cost N8,000 and nN6,000 respectively but for orders from 500 units (medium average) it will cost N4,000 & N3,000 respectively.

2.     Add Attribute for thickness:

o    Create an attribute named “Paper Stock.”

o    Add terms: “300gsm Stock” (base price) and “Super Thick 600gsm” (additional ₦2500).

3.     Add Attribute for Delivery Speed:

o    Create an attribute named “Delivery Speed.”

o    Add terms: “Regular Delivery” (base price) and “Swift Delivery” (additional ₦3000).

4.     Add Attribute for Corner Shape:

o    Create an attribute named “Corner Shape.”

o    Add terms: “Rectangular Corner” (base price) and “Round Corner” (additional ₦500).

5.     Add Attribute for Embossing:

o    Create an attribute named “Embossing”

o    Add terms: “Yes” and “No”

 

C. Create Variations:

o    Navigate to the ‘Variations’ tab and set default form values (this is the default option users will see when they visit product page for the first time, before selecting any values

o    select ‘Add Variation.”

o    Select the “create variations on all attributes under “default value form as seen below, it will automatically create the variation options

o    e.g. 300gsm Stock – Regular Delivery – Rectangular Corner).

o    Set pricing accordingly for all variation:

1.       Base price for 300gsm Stock, Regular Delivery, Rectangular Corner.

2.     Add additional prices for variations like Super Thick 600gsm (+₦2500), Swift Delivery (+₦3000), and Round Corner (+₦500).

6.     Select advanced & enable reviews (this allows customers to drop reviews on the product

7.     Select file uploads & set label to “Upload Artworks To Be Printed” or whichever is best for the product or service type being uploaded

8.     Scroll down to “Short product description” and update using the same template as seen below

9.     Check and confirm all categories are checked

10. Add main product image under “product image”

11.    Add other images under product gallery

12.  Add or create product tags that defines the product when its searched online

13.  Double check every entries updated

14.  Select “Update” or publish if it’s a new product

15.  Cross check product on front end and test for all variations to note price changes accordingly, finally try placing an order on the product
